A Walk with Wine
Step into our story with a stroll through the rolling landscapes of Parley Lake Winery with our Walk With Wine Tour and Tasting. We’ll kick things off at our live-edge table near the Lakeview Stage, where you’ll learn how the unique Minnesota topography and our namesake lake shape the character of every bottle. From there, we’ll stroll out to the vineyards to taste our flagship Itasca wine right where it grows, discussing the fascinating science of cold-climate viticulture and the "Minnesota-hardy" grapes that make our region so special.
The adventure continues as we explore the heart of our property, moving from the historic apple orchards—developed in partnership with the University of Minnesota—to the striking "Goddess of the Grapes" sculpture to see how art and wine truly entwine. After a stop at our iconic Barn Quilt to hear the stories behind our heritage structures and event spaces, we’ll head inside to the barrel wall. Here, you’ll sample a cellar favorite, while uncovering the secrets of the winemaking process and our exclusive Wine and Barrel Clubs. Your experience concludes back at the tasting room with a full glass of your favorite wine to enjoy at your leisure. This is a 21+ experience.

Know Before You Go:
Footwear: This is a walking tour through active vineyards and grassy hills. We highly recommend comfortable, sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots
Weather: Our tours run rain or shine-- please dress for the elements (i.e. sun protection, a hat, or a light jacket and umbrella). If there is extreme or dangerous weather, the tour will be cancelled; you will be notified and refunded.
Accessibility: We love sharing our vines with everyone. If you have mobility concerns, please let us know in advance so we can adjust our route (including a visit to our vineyard robot!) to ensure a comfortable experience.
Arrival: Please check in at the tasting room 10–15 minutes before your scheduled start time so we can direct you to the Lakeview Stage for your first pour.
